6 Ways I'm Using ChatGPT’s New Image Generation As A Founder
(That's NOT studio Ghibli images of my family)
In this edition
🔹 6 Real use cases of chatGPT’s image gen I’ve personally tested as a founder
🔹 3 Power tips to get better results from ChatGPT’s image tool
🔹 How you can use these tools in your work today
I, like most of you, have been FLOODED these two weeks.
Ghibli-style family pics.
Ghibli-style cats.
Ghibli-style images of Steve Jobs (Yes).
The internet is having a moment with ChatGPT’s new image generation tool.
I HATE hype, and I rarely take part in it.
So now that the hype has died down (somewhat), my first thought is, how can I seriously use these features in my day-to-day as a founder?
So for the past 10 days or so, I’ve been experimenting with introducing this tool into my work.
Turns out, it can do a lot.
So, I’ve outlined six use cases I’ve already explored (or am actively using) that you, as a founder, can apply today:
1. Polished Sales Collateral
If you’re selling a product or service, you need compelling visuals.
I recently created software mockups for my own offerings: Raise.OS, Grow.OS, and Build.OS.
I then asked ChatGPT to place them for me in beautiful settings.
And even have a founder holding one of the packs.
You can have professional-level images ready to drop, no wait, no designer.
This can do wonders for promotions, ads, and website content (Already added one of these on my site).
My rating?
Impeccable. Waiting to be used.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
2. Prototype Your Brand Identity
I recently met with founders in the supplement space.
We were discussing a potential collab for their upcoming product launch (we didn’t end up working together).
I’m wondering now what we could have tested if we had these capabilities on board.
Multiple identities or multiple pack shots for example.
In the case below, I prompted it to create an Ayurvedic inspired brand vs. one oriented to active youths.
Next? We run iterations to see what this brand could be.
We easily create professional level booklets or landing pages that tell the brand story and see what sticks with users most.
Best part? No need to even produce anything before getting feedback.
My rating?
Excellent as well, BUT needs proper prompting, and tough to keep consistent.
⭐⭐⭐⭐
3. Validate Concepts at Scale
Want to see what sticks?
In the early stage founder days, rapid prototyping keeps you alive.
And the limitation was always the number of prototypes you can create due to resources.
What if you could do 5 versions of any prototype instead of one?
I’m currently working with pipcke.fr (an online interior design service focused on professional women in their 30s) on boosting their GTM.
I asked ChatGPT to create three homepage mock-ups for me (Empowerment & Simplicity, Confidence & Completion, Playful and Millennial).
Here’s what it proposed to me.
With a few extra prompts and refinements, you can easily get to user ready prototypes.
Mock up multiple landing pages, visual concepts, or product ideas, then test them.
Extremely handy if you don’t know how to use wireframes.
My rating?
Excellent as well, BUT consistency will be an issue here (as well as waiting time to get all these iterations).
⭐⭐⭐⭐
4. Visuals for Slides
I spend way too much time hunting for images.
I now repeatedly go back to ChatGPT to create custom images for me that fit the bill.
Great way to get images and illustrations that represent what you want.
(I am using these in slides - there is a logic to it - lol).
(Also, try to find this image in a stock library)
+ A new bonus I just discovered.
It’s sometimes difficult to get people to understand “your vision”.
Be it clients, investors or partners.
With the right prompt, you can help them visualize it with the right image.
I’m calling these vision slides.
They makes pitches MUCH more tangible.
My rating?
Impeccable here too. Waiting to be used.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
5. Content That Looks Good
If you’re a founder these days, you’re likely building a personal brand, and posting regularly.
Thumbnails, cover images, illustrations, memes, turns out ChatGPT can do a lot here as well.
It’s not perfect (AI humor is... hit or miss), but it’s already helping me create better visuals for LinkedIn and beyond.
The thumbnail of this newsletter for example:
(I even went back and changed my previous thumbnails as well!).
My rating?
Too good not too use honestly.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
6. Infographics (Kind of... Not Yet)
Here’s where things still fall short.
I’ve built a lot of authority through well-designed infographics, and thankfully, ChatGPT isn’t quite ready to replace me yet.
You can create simple ones or concept visualizations, but the layout and readability still need work.
Looks like I have a few months left yet. Phew.
My rating?
Pretty average (which is great news for me).

Quick power tips for better results
Start with inspo: Find reference images (from your product, competitors, or anywhere on Google) and feed them in.
The model really benefits from visual anchors.
Sketch it out: Even a rough drawing can be cleaned up and turned into something polished. Don't underestimate the value of a napkin sketch.
For someone who can’t draw, this is amazing.
Try this today
✅ Pick one current project (a deck, a landing page, a pitch) and ask yourself: what visual would amplify this?
✅ Outline which of these 6 approaches could help you do that.
✅ Open ChatGPT, describe your idea (or upload a sketch), and test a few iterations.
✅ Post one output on LinkedIn and ask your audience what they think. Great for engagement and feedback.
How have you tried using ChatGPT’s image generation?
